Bible Bowl is a friendly Bible knowledge competition between our young people and those at other area congregations. The season runs from October through March. The Bible Bowl is hosted by a different member congregation each 2nd Sunday of the month at 2 PM.
This year, we will compete against the young people from Falkville, Farley, Neel and Point Mallard. Junior Bible Bowl teams include boys and girls through grade 6, while Senior Bible Bowl teams include grades 7-12. There may be up to 5 students on a team, and each church may field as many teams as they wish. Two teams face off each round in a Quiz Bowl double-elimination format. The first team to answer 5 questions correctly wins the round. The congregation that wins the bracket keeps the plaque for the next month.
This season has now ended. Union keeps the Junior Bible Bowl plaque for the summer, and Neel keeps the Senior Bible Bowl plaque. Congratulations to everyone that participated!
